Client Data Verification, Sr. SpecialistJob Summary:
This candidate will be
responsible for daily production Workflow. Be a Data Stewardship/Data Quality
SME and have strong Project representation skills. Perform Quality Control of
Customer information within the proprietary systems.Responsible to maintain
and ensure compliance with Dept. procedures & overall Bank Policies Proactively
recognize and manage risk.ResponsibilitiesDaily Production
WorkflowManage multiple simultaneous requests in a high pressure environment on client
data verificationStrictly verify accuracy
of information provided in the workflow requestby representing the first
line of defense for all customer information prior to being sent for KYC review
and risk reportingPresent complex issues in simple and straightforward manner to internal
clientsDepartment HelpdeskAct as subject matter expert on Departments system and
proceduresby understanding the complete end-to-end life cycle of a bank
customerManage the consolidation
of customers to ensure bank exposures are denoted accuratelyUnderstand importance of
aggregation of customers and group exposures to effectively support reporting
and risk management process stakeholders.Project participationContribute ideas to improve and streamline the on-boarding, maintenance and
customer aggregation process.Work with business users & technology through project requirements, design
and analysis phase to ensure coverage and quality for Customer dataParticipate in system testing as required, developing and maintaining test
scripts and coordinating testing activities
Reporting/ReconciliationProvide support for existing department reports for daily, weekly and monthly
processesCreate and maintain ad-hoc reports on customer data for various departments in
the bankMaintain and ensure compliance with Dept. procedures & overall bank
policiesMaintain data accuracy
by reconciling data comparison reportsInvestigate and resolve
inaccuracies between applications relating to customer credit ratings and
customer group aggregationDocuments procedures as well as offer and implement suggestions to enhance
accuracy and efficiency of the processesConduct system training to business usersParticipation in all departments daily tasks as dictated by workload and staffing
levelsAdministrative assistance as neededOffice supply ordering, filing, record maintenance, etc.Qualifications:At least 2 years client data
and risk reporting experience in a financial institution with products (i.e.
derivatives, securitization, syndication) and operations (Front or Middle
Office) knowledgeSolid knowledge of Data
governanceSolid understanding of business activities, compliance / risk issuesRigorous and motivated by regulatory aspectsExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in
